Aaland Law is located at 415 11th Street South, Fargo, in an historic house that has been renovated and converted to fit the needs of the firm. Founded in 1989 by Cash H. Aaland, the firm has grown to four attorneys and three legal assistants: Denise Brinkman, Carol Knodle and Sheri Vander Wolde. The attorneys of Aaland Law practice primarily in the areas of criminal defense, family law/divorce, bankruptcy and debt relief.
Although located in Fargo, North Dakota, the attorneys of the firm practice throughout Minnesota and North Dakota, handling cases as far west as Dickinson, North Dakota, and east to St. Paul, Minnesota. Jesse N. Lange grew up in Hazen, North Dakota, and is a third generation lawyer well acquainted with western North Dakota. Ronald Hettich practiced several years in the Twin Cities area and is at home with the courts and legal community in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Johnathan R. Judd spent several years in the Minnesota Public Defender’s office and is the firm’s go to guy on Minnesota criminal law issues.
